Hello!



As a member of the Mount and Musket and Napoleonic Wars community for over two years now I have attended many events and have helped admin and host some in my days.

Thus I present you with "Illuminati's Saturday World Domination Linebattle". I am proud to incorporate aspects of Linebattles that I have attended over the years and enjoyed immensely, while trimming away aspects I did not enjoy.

These are as follows.


  • No Rambos
  • No Firing out of Line.
  • No Firing on the Charge (relates to the above point)
  • No Racism
  • Keep trash talk friendly and playful
  • Minimum amount of people needed to fire 4.
  • 2 Large maps
  • 2 rounds on each map.
  • Meetings with the leaders of regiments that attend the event to ask for their input and critiques
  • And most important is to have fun.



As long as everyone follows the rules we should be good.

Now for the part that can not be fit into the list: ASSAULT.

Assault is a mode I have devised with the help of other regimental leaders when I realized many of the things that make NW unique from MM are no longer used in Linebattles, such as sappers. So I am working to change this, at least a little bit. The fourth map is on a premade map, for example Landshut. Assault is similar to siege, however on an open town. The defending team is free to garrison houses and defend the town to their last man. They can set up choke points and defenses using their sappers. The attackers on the other hand have to destroy the defenses in hopes of breaking through. As well, you can FOL within the town and generally not be in a line for that situation.

Every regiment receives a sapper, so you better spend those points wisely. For the defenders, sappers can not barricade the doorways of houses they are garrisoning. As well, you are not allowed to build large towers or to go the roofs of houses.

As well, each team will get two rounds defending and two rounds attacking.

Rules to garrison a house.


  • Do not barricade the doorway
  • Crouching is allowed at the window.
  • You can fire upon enemies that enter the house as long as you are already reloaded.





However, spots are limited! In future events I would like to incorporate Skirmishers and Cavalry!
