For the year 2012, there are 2 TW modders nominated as favourite 2D artist in the Shogun 2 section. A 2D artist is a person that modifies 2D art or images in the game. Like unit cards, game's UI or things like faction icons & banners.Vote for the one you like the most:

Robin de Bodemloze


2D Work: Robin was the sole 2D artist that worked on the Sekigahara campaign mod. He gave the UI a different look, created loads of new icons for units, daimyo, building chains, etc. In total he made over 1,000 images for the mod. The following aren't his pics, but are the best way to demonstrate what he did - each dialogue box was made up of about 10-15 single images that had to be redone individually. You can see how some of the new unit icons are displayed as well.

2D work: In the year 2012, Noif released some mods that modified the 2D aspect of Total War shogun 2. The 2D mods that were released are mentioned below:

• Noif's Bows: A retexture mod for the bows in shogun 2.
• NOIF's Boshin War Mod: A re-texture & re-colouring mod containing many refreshed banners, uniforms & historical flags.
• NOIF's Optional FOTS Uniforms Recolors: A re-colour mod that provides optional uniform colours for FOTS units.
• NOIF's Modern Japan Army Uniform Mod: Mod that changes uniforms and gives the option to play with a modernized Japanese units.
