3D area was a problem for a long time, since there was no converter for the new variant-parts files. But thanks T.C., who found a programmer to help, we were able to create a converter. I served as betatester and so the mod was the very first one, who created new models for Napoleon: Total war. And thanks to this breakthrough we were able to add the much needed uniform variation for the confederate faction. For example confederate regiments now have up to six different hat models with at least 2 texture variations.
I created roughly 30 different parts for hats, bodies, equipment, trousers etc. Each part has several texture variations, so I can give units a unique appearance.
Units like the "Iron Brigade", the"14th Brookyln" or the "Washington Artillery" do have completely unique models and textures.
Besides unit models a lot of other models were created. Artillery now has proper damage models (

Models were created in 3ds Max, unit models later exported to Mudbox, a sculpting program, to add wrinkles and later textured in Photoshop.
