    You are wrong at least on the Legions aspect .There was 2 Legions , Legiao Ligeira lead by the Marques of Alorna that did service under Napoleon and the Leal Legiao Lusitana that was created to fight the French.

    Many thanks - but I do know there were two Legions, on second thoughts three - Legiao Ligeira under the Marques of Alorna; the Leal Legiao Lusitana which fought for the Anglo-Portuguese plus La Legion Portugaise that fought for the French. The French one is included in the separate list of French Units. The current Portuguese listing is more or less the anti-French faction.
