Suebi is Really Hard Custom Battle

So I was playing as Rome against Suebi and I find that the Master Swordsman and their horses are crazy strong. My Praetorian Calvary always seem to die even though they have the better stats and on top of that an ability that helps counter calvary better. Then the Master Swordsman always destroy my men even if they're Praetorian Guards. What I usually do is get the 4 best armored infantry, then I get 3 Praetorian Guards, abd with 2 Gladiators. To counter the clavary I get 2 Gladiator Spearmen, 4 Praetorian Guards, and 1 Praetorian Spearmen (if that's what they're called), but this always ends in a costly victory. What are your guys strategy to counter Suebi? Oh yeahs and maybe some wardogs and 2 archers. Then I set up my men in a certain way.
