Default Agent spam on my capital

SO I am playing as Massalia on VH, and currently at war with most of the barbarian tribes north of me. The tribes have been spamming my capital with actions and destroying buildings, now I think I have it under control I managed to manipulate most of them so right now I have around 15 agents standing around my capital and I only have around 12 regions :p

The problem is, after all thier agent spam I have 2 damaged buildings in my capital and when I try to repair them it will take it 70 turns to finish. Is this a bug or what is happening?

Get the mod from Steam Workshop that reduces AI agent spam and perhaps start again.

It sounds like damage caused by enemy agents stacks. That sounds like just another oversight from poor beta testing.

Uh no, if you play the game you'll see that it has nothing to do with that and more like people aren't paying attention to the messages the game sends you.

Check your facts before spreading lies and clogging up the forum with crap.

This is what happens from what you're saying.

Champion comes in and does a "raid" which damages all buildings.

    You then select "Repair building"

Afterwards, you get messages about agents doing "Cultural tension" or "arson"

You look at those buildings and notice that they're taking 50 turns to repair.

What is happening is once the champion "damages" the building the other agents move in and they can actually "Delay" the repairs. I've had cases where I went 10 turns trying to repair a farm house that should've taken only 2 turns.

The only way to counter this is to identify the agents and terminate them and cancel the repairs when it's more than the turns it actually takes to build it. Just cancel and hit repair again if needed.

So, nameless, you go and chastise me about "spreading lies" and talking "crap", and then you turn around and pretty much say the same thing I said. Care to explain?

Nice try trying to turn this around.

That sounds like just another oversight from poor beta testing.
You have zero proof about your claims as you're trying to put this is a failure or a bug on the game. Oversight means "failure to notice something" but again you have no proof and just coming up with crap.

As others have pointed out, the AI is good at using its Agents to hamper you, and it's working as intended. If you don't stop the AI from continually damaging the repair buildings, the repair process takes even longer.

The funny thing is you say, "AI enemy agents damage" which is what the OP already stated and then you go on implying like the rest of the bandwagon jumpers that it's a failure design on the game itself all in 2 sentences. The OP is asking if it's a bug and you're trying to drum it up.

I simply pointed out why it was happening and the ways to counter it so we are NOT saying the same thing as you didn't give him any suggestions or reasonings on why it's happening. You don't even make an effort to help him out at all.

If you were meaning to say the same thing then why didn't you offer him the same suggestions? Care to explain yourself?

Oh, and I assume you have proof that this is exactly how the developers intended it to work? As I said, I assume it's an oversight since 70 turns to repair a building is beyond absurd.

To the point where it takes 10x longer to repair it than it does to build it? Tell me you don't take yourself seriously.

I was remarking that the damage caused by agent activities stacks ad absurdum, which Ive never heard of before. Read it again.

So you're saying 70 turn repairs are not bugs or oversights. Gotcha...*

You can explain why it happens and how you're a genius at solving the issue all you wish, it doesn't change the fact that it sounds like an oversight by the bug testers (seeming as it's something that rarely happens, judging by the sound of things).

So... You're upset because I didn't offer him a suggestion and merely reiterated the possibility that it's a issue with the game?

Hmm, never seen this in vanilla. If you're playing as Massalia, this means, you're playing a mod. Could be a mod problem?

I'm talking about the 70 turn repair time not the agent spam. Agent spam happens (and I'm fine with it since it also saves my butt at times when I'm over extended).

    Anyway, this getting off topic.

OP, if nameless' suggestion doesn't work, it might be better to demolish the building and building everything from the beginning.
