I think the demo will be released first to all the people who have registered at TWC. Reason Alexander expansion for RTW was released first to the people who have registered at TWC so i think they will do the same for MTW2 demo

Wh...wh...WHAT?! :hmmm:
think you just have to register for the newsletter over at www.totalwar.com
Yes just register at the link above if u want the demo first
You can't sign up for the demo.
Either it will be a PCgamer exclusive like with BI or SEGA will release it at the same time everywhere.
I know some people here are very eager to play the demo but I suggest patience.
Nothing to do with patience its just the way i beleive CA will release the demo. First of all they will let all the people D/L the demo who are registered then like u say release it through variouse mediums such as PCGAMER ect
If CA release the demo through the newsletter(which they wont) then everyone who isn't signed up will have it in 2 second anyway.Originally Posted by DeerHunter

I doubt however SEGA will do that again.
It only took a few hours then everyone had the demo anyway.
No, it was just BI demo.Well RTW/BI i think were both PC Gamer UK exclusives
The RTW demo got released on the .com first.
Why is it a PcGamer exclusive? And not a Gamespot one? Just curious..Originally Posted by TB666

Its whoever pays the most to get the rights. I'll just be 'pirating' the free demo the second its avaliable. CA gets my money, not PC Gamer.
so... the PCGAMER subscribers will get the demo in 1month from now. Bahhh, thats a long month. I thought we were talking about a few days, maybe a week from now...![]()
wellwell, i guess there's nothing we can do about it. Im just hoping that some of those pcgamer subscribers will share the demo asap zulu.
Isn't that the truth.Originally Posted by Axdahl

And yes, uploading an exclusive demo on the net hours after release does count as an illegal activity.

Hmm.. I think I can wait a few more hours to get my hands on that demo. It will be such a rush after the release so my connection can't keep up. I'll just download it the next day.![]()

Its good day live in England......
Time to start buying PC Gamer UK again
If they have an Australian mag as well, ill probably just wait till i see it in the shelves or when i see the 'Demo Released' thread here, whatever comes first. This is so different to Xbox 360, the demos all come out on live about a month before the magazines ever get them
If the game's out just a few weeks later, I don't care much for the demo anyway. If it were to come out NOW... well, that's an entirely different matter.
