I found that you do it by downloading Pack File manager, installing it, making a new mod called attritionmod, then when it asks you to open the base file use it to open the data_rome2.pack file in Rome C:/programfiles(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/RomeII/data, then go to db, then campaign_map_attrition_damage_tables, then campaign_map_attrition_damages, save it as the base file for the mod and edit the percentages. save. copy the file from RomeII/attritionmod to Rome II/data

Has it worked with few soldier units? Like hero units.

I tried this creating hero units (single soldier units) yet it didn't do much, usually they died anyway due to attrition, I tried adding a unit_immunities to the units, but it also didn't work. I think the only way it actually worked was to give the faction immunity to all attritions.

It has been quite some time, so the damage thing might have worked, but the effect of giving a specific faction attrition immunity worked better for me.
