    Default Wedding

    Hey !

I was just wondering if any of you had a random event resulting in a wedding ?

Because I can't seem to get any of my family members to get married...

Is there something I'm missing or it's just part of the incomplete political/family system ?

Only time my generals have ever been married was when I recruited them and they came with a wife. Never ha I experienced a random event offering a marriage, never been offered a marriage by a rival faction, and never have I married into said rival factions. The cost is far too restrictive, and the benefits are superficial.

I got proposed twice, while offering a wedding or two myself, too. As for the benefits, one of those got me 50 out of 120 elders on my side

I have used the "marriage" option in politics and all of my generals are still without a wife... so it beats me, maybe people in the ancient world were never really into sex.

“The only rule that ever made sense to me I learned from a history, not an economics, professor at Wharton. "Fear," he used to say, "fear is the most valuable commodity in the universe." That blew me away. "Turn on the TV," he'd say. "What are you seeing? People selling their products? No. People selling the fear of you having to live without their products." freakin' A, was he right. Fear of aging, fear of loneliness, fear of poverty, fear of failure. Fear is the most basic emotion we have. Fear is primal. Fear sells.” WWZ

Have you had your daily dose of fear yet? craziii

Hardly even notice this feature, not really sure what consequence it has at all, except if you happen to get a negative effect wife, but I'm hardly ever inclined to check or notice it, goes by unnoticed, bad UI.

I think that if they fix the political system having children will become important... But I agree right now it seems without any consequences to live a life of celibate. (or maybe hedonism in private ;P)
