Default Spawning more generals per turn?

I'm wondering how to go about making the game spawn more generals per turn, as opposed to the default 1 that seems to be occurring currently. I thought the possible changes were linked in with the effects tables, but that turned out to be a dead end.

    Any help?

Also if you could show me how you've gone about changing the units spawn in civil war, that would be much appreciated

Under campaign_variables there are a few entries like

    character_recruitment_pool_refill_rate_general_0

    Not sure if that helps?

character_recruitment_pool_cap is the max number of generals in a single pool at any given time. the refill rate is for the chance of a better star general or a lesser one for instance. General_0 beeing the lesser one and general_2 the more advanced type. so the higher the number the more chance for better generals. And if you set a decent pool cap. then at one point or the other it should be full. But it takes time at one general per turn. not sure how to change this atm. Any ways that is what they mean.

I'm really sorry for replying to a thread that is years and years old, but I feel it is necessary because this is one of the only google search hits on the search queries
    "character_recruitment_pool_refill_rate_general",
    "character_recruitment_pool_refill_rate_general_0",
    "character_recruitment_pool_refill_rate_general_1", and
    "character_recruitment_pool_refill_rate_general_2"

Disclaimer: I've only play the original Shogun 2, and usually with darthmod.

Could anyone confirm that this is accurate? I've found no evidence that supports this, but it might be because I'm using darthmod.
From what I've seen, all generals spawn with the same base command because they all start at rank 1.
What would a "lesser" or "more advanced type" of general mean?
Better chance at getting or starting with good traits? If so, where is that information in the database? Is it possible that pool 2 generals can ONLY have higher effect traits? Or is there a specific table which assigns a weight (i.e. a numeric value of chance) as to which pool is more likely to get certain traits?
The "traits_to_included_agents" table doesn't contain a column for a pool id.
If not traits, then what? And which table tells us the chances of the generals from the pool getting the effect?
Retainers? The "ancillary_to_included_agents" table doesn't include a column for a pool id.

I suspect that "character_recruitment_pool_cap" actually is supposed to be read as "the maximum number of recruitable character pools", and not "the maximum number of characters per pool". If that is true, can you add more pools to the game? And what about brothers and sons who become generals? I suspect they're excluded from it, because you don't really recruit them.
Also, in the original Shogun 2 game, do the keys
    "character_recruitment_pool_refill_rate_admiral_0"
    "character_recruitment_pool_refill_rate_admiral_1", and
    "character_recruitment_pool_refill_rate_admiral_2"
    have no effect?
I know that using a general in sea battles will make it more likely they will receive naval retainers, but they're not actually admirals.
