Crashing on the very first screen ( SPQR with Eagle)

Hey all, so I havent been able to paly Rome for quite a while now, one day I went to fire it up and it got until the SPQR eagle screen when the game first starts and my cursor is the loading spinny mouse thing and the game just never does anything, if I spam click the middle of the screen I can find the "This program is non responsive" box. Halp!

I have reinstalled once, verified my game integrity several times and updated my Nvidia drivers and nothing has worked

Yeah I believe I started crashing 2-3 patches ago

Game still wont start, reinstalled and deleted everything related to Rome 2 that I could find... I guess I am doomed

Hope we get something soon. I hate having a $60 game sitting there doing nothing.

New update hasn't fixed it for me.

Bump. Same problem as well. There are some fixes I've found that at least get the game to launch, but now Mod Manager doesn't even show up in the Launcher.

if I can't play my mods, I'd rather not play at all.
