    Default The cai_personality_cultural_multipliers_table

I have been working on editing the cai_personality_cultural_multipliers_table to make certain cultures more friendly with other cultures. However, when I change the numbers in certain columns they actually have the opposite or no effect in game.

    For example:

I changed the negative attitude modifier from 1.25 to .5, for some cultures this works (the negative attitudes are cut in half rather than increased by 25%). For others, there is no affect. Same with the positive attitude modifier. Actually, for some I changed the positive modifier to 2 (should double it) and it actually doubled their negative diplomatic values.

I changed the base bonus (culture affinity) and this seems completely messed up either in game or by the editor. For a faction that starts at -10, if I change that to 5 then in game sometimes they will be at 5 affinity then other times they will be at -15. When I change it to positive 10, they go back to being at -10. I cannot figure out what is affecting those values, perhaps another table?

If anyone has messed with this table and gotten it to work, please share

I just put the factions i wanted to be friendly at 0-0 or 1-1. Seems to have been working fine before the god damn patch screwed it up. Carthage went to war with the Etruscans and started a collection of Spanish allies, it was quite strange.

Although there is anther table I can't remember off the top of my head but I think it has to do with religion. Also there are multiple tables relating to diplomacy levels depending on what sort of govt. you assign the faction in cai_personalities

Yeah those other tables seem to govern various personalities. However, for direct religion (culture) relations and base cultural attitudes, that one table used to do it just fine. Now, the numbers I put in end up doing the opposite of what they should.

Yeah I'm trying to get my head around whether things need to be negative or positive. I just did a bit of trial and error, but now they are all super nice offering me 200000 to become my client state. I'm at turn 25 or something and I have half the world as my allies or client states lol

For certain cultures the modifiers seem to apply correctly. However, for others they either don't work or do the opposite. The base cultural affinity number also seems to be bugged.
