Default chivalrous generals or dread ones?

what kind of generals do you think you will have in MTWII and what are the differences?
i think my generals will be dread ones because in rome i usualy slaughter the population and in medieval i dont think i will take many prisoners. and how different are the chivalrous generals from the dread ones?
These fine gentlemen's have thanks to their consistent idiotic posts have earned their place on my ignore list: mrmouth, The Illusionist, motiv-8, mongrel, azoth, thorn777 and elfdude. If you want to join their honourable rank you just have to post idiotic posts and you will get there in no time.

I think they'll have their own ads and disads. Just like Ghengis Khan and Saladin example. My example shall follow Saladins path to victory. Ruthless warrior in field but tolerant man after battle even to his enemies who deserves a true hospitality and respect.

Most of my 8 or 9 star generals in MTW were 'butchers' etc. Nothing like charging a mediocre unit with a 9 dread 9 star 9 valour general and watching them get run over like little children by a drunk truck driver.

Dread: France, all the Italian States and any Catholic Faction that feels like defending them.

Chivalrous: Scotland and for my Crusades

With the Management scrolls of RTW gone, will the Dread/Chivalry have an effect on city management? if so that will probably influence my decisions, but overall id prefer to have a Chivalrous General, i assume it would make diplomacy easier, and win me some support of close by nations. Of course id like to have a few dreaded guys hanging around for when you absolutely, positively have to waste every mutha in the settlement, accept no substitutes lol

Dread Ones, nothing left behind just dust and bones, no prisoners - that's for Crusades, political, influence and managment skills for Europe!!!

I hope being chivalrous will make my allies honour me and dread make them fear me

i hope to find a pleasant balance between the two. dread for those who need to be made to tremble, and chivalry for those who i wish to aid and protect.

I chose chivalrous, so I can liberate the world from dreaded generals and kings.
And for those who don't know chivalrous generals add bonuses to your army, while dreaded ones scare the enemy army.

Real mean crazy bastards of course. I always executed the prisoners in Medieval. No mercy. Just for that sound when you press that "sword" button...
