Watch AI vs AI Battles in Campaign?

Some people may find this boring but i love to watch battles between AI and AI. Is there a way to watch them without having troops nearby? Is it absolutely impossible or just very difficult? I guess its hardcoded.

AI is auto resolving all it's battles. So, basically there is no battle to watch, unless you are included in the battle.

And is it possible to change that, so the AI fights the battles, instead of autoresolvig?

If AI fights every battle one by one, turns would last for hours, maybe even days. This is one of the reasons why total war games don't have co-op campaigns (except Shogun 2 i guess).

It can be done but it requires much more than basic modding knowledge.

Well, i would try it out if someone could tell me, what to change. But if its too difficult, i have to live with that.

I myself as well don't know what to tell you, but I'd ask this in the Medieval 2 Kingdom's mod workshop here, or maybe some of Medieval 2's top modders, I'm sure one of them could answer better! Good luck.
