So, I decided to venture myself in the epic quest of removing the torches from siege battles...
At first, I was successful. I managed to remove torches from the game by modding the "projectile_displays_table", the "projectile_shoot_type_enum_table" and the "projectile_table".
But there are two problems:
So, does anyone has any suggestion on how to solve these two problems?

I too was just starting to undertake this. I first changed to the damage of torches down to nothing and put the range to 600. Even when they had a ram, they all still ran to the gate to burn it down.
right now, due to mentioned combat scripts, it is not viable to remove torches from the game.. anyway you can at least make it look less ridiculous.. For example, i changed torches into flaming javelins, so instead they are throwing javelins, which can be used also to destroy any wooden towers as well.. it looks a bit less ridiculous (javelins don't bounce), while their real purpose was only in sieges anyway...
Hello Man! I have interested in your mod that completely remove torches in sieges, especially with patch 14! But link on file is outdated! Could you please upload this file again? Hope it will be compatible with patch 14!
