Thinking of playing this mod...is there any spoilers in game?

I never read the book and strictly follow the series only... are there any spoilers in the game that could potentially ruin anything in the series?

In the current beata, and assuming you have caught up with the series then no, not to my knowlege. However, lots of the submods and Hotseats contain spoilers so I'd recommend avoiding those (especially Winds of Winter, that's all spoilers). The main exception to this is King of Rivers and Hills which takes place thousands of years before the series and is awesome . Good luck, and remember: the night is dark and full of terrors.
