Default Is it possible to change lod model distance?

As the title says. In Rome: TW /Medieval 2 it was possible to set the distances at which the various lods appear. But in Shogun II it wasn't.
Is it doable in Rome II? I didn't find any related file currently...
Disclaimer: the post above is way way prealpha, the final version will be way better than this.

I cant answer your question specifically, but I do remember in Empire, when you pressed the N button to zoom in, the game would discard sprites and instead render the full meshes no matter the distance, unfortunately this didn't apply to Shogun 2 or Rome 2, but if I'm correct, pressing the button still slightly alters the LOD distance. So the code definitely exists, but extracting it and using it in a mod might be a tad difficult.

The code surely exists somewhere, but unfortunately it's possible that is coded directly on the exe
