One of the things I always found kind of immersion breaking in Total War games (to not to say idiotic) was the fact that units always start sneaking whe they're not visible to enemy.
I would understand if this was some kind of movement type that makes them harder to spot, but no: they always start to sneak when they're invisible to enemy and automatically strighten up when they're spotted. Like they somehow know when someone sees them. To make matters worse, sneaking is always slower than marching, so all of a sudden half of your army starts to act weird and crawl through forest just because nobody sees them.
I understand this is just a visual reference to let player know they're hidden, but I hate it.
I haven't seen anyone changing that, so here's a mod to do that.
My forum searching skill is pretty low though, so let me know if this is redundant.
To install you need only to place the file in data folder. To uninstall, remove (movie type pack file).
Please report any problems. My tests were rather short and not very thorough. I don't suspect problems, but you never know.
In my opinion this is perfect mod to incorporate into any battle mod that aims at realism, so if anyone want's to, please do. No need to ask permission.
