Days later a boat arrives to the Yronwood's coast, from Stonhelm. On board is Brynden Connington, with one of his uncle's men art arms. He wears rich clothes, wearing the colours of his House, but mixed with his mother's heraldry. From his necklace, made of gold, hangs a golden little portoculis. His golden hair shine under the Dorne's sun. He's fair, kind, and amicable, and leaves the boat happily chatting with the captain and the saillors. Once landed he looks around, searching his uncle, who he is just going to met.

A raven arrives from Griffin's Roost, with the personal seal of Lord Connington:

It would be an incredible pleasure to send my nephew to your seat, he will be also a symbol of the new friendship between the Storm Lands and Dorne. This kind, joyful, boy will bring happiness to your heart, I hope. Foster him as a warrior, like an Yronwood or a Connington would do, but also as a Lord. As soon as this raven leaves Griffin's Roost such will do the young Brynden. Your sister would rejoice with these news.

The child delivered Connington's message and soon switched to a children-like chat... And looks with amaze the Yronwood's Hall. It's architecture trully different from that og Griffin's Roost.

The little Connington had arrived to his uncle's study early in the morning, and they talked for an hour about the kid's education. Brynden interests laid in History and Literature, but abhors Mathematic's subtle ways. He was proficient with the sword, even at his young age, but he had still a lot to learn in riding horses, something his uncle would surely help him.
