alexander is messed up bad

well 1st off let me make sure i have all the right stuff, what patches for RTW (and BI if nessicary) do you need to run the game 1st off

and so i bought it quite awhile ago, but gave up cuz it wouldnt work but ive decided i want it, just to play lusteds alexandros (btw lusted i want to have your babies, ur a god hahaha) so i downloaded it from SEGA and right when its done it shows the purple icon which u click to install but alls it does is it goes to the very 1st loading bar that comes up (says extracting download) and then it goes all crazy and stops responding, then i donwloaded it again cuz i figured it didnt cost THAT MUCH lol but it did the exact same thing, btw i have rtw and bi and they both run fine on fairly high graphics (im using lusteds TE mod as of now, but wasnt when i 1st downloaded it and tried it and it did and still does the same thing)

Well do you have a clean install of 1.5 or 1.6 at all?

Do you have a CLEAN install of 1.5 though? If you have a modded 1.5 then Alexander will likely not work.

does having TE installed make it unclean?, cuz other than that nothing has been changed

TE installed it wont work.

ok well i just uninstalled everything started from scratch and got 1.5 patch and it still doesnt work, it does the exact same thing

You're installing to your non-modded folder right? I believe installing Alexander will look in the place you installed RTW to, so make sure the original is in that location.

none, i installed the patches and ect. and when i tried to install it it still did the same thing

can you provide screenshots of your Activision folder so I can see what folders you created plus the exact errors you are getting.

well i got it to work on vista and you... how do historical battles work, and battle tournaments

Historical battles are just one battle with a story at the beginning describing what the battle is about and gives you the conditions of the battle. I do not play online, so I can not answer the second part.

umm not sure how to take screenshots for you, but i did everything exactly how u said (cleared all traces or rtw, installed rtw, installed the 1.2 patch, installed BI, installed the BI 1.6 patch, then copied the activison folder, and downloaded Alexander) had a folder called copy of activision, and activision, downloaded alexander from sega, and as soon as its done, it launches, says extracting dowload, and then the program stops responding

Restart the computer and restart the extraction and then post a screenshot when it hangs.

how do i take screenshots when out of game? still just press print screen? then where ddo the pics go?
