    Default Help with upgrading

I don't know much about computers, I have an intel 2.6 GHZ processor on my current computer, but my gfx card is a nvidia mx 440... not good I know. I also only have 512 mb of ram. I have 250 dollars to spend, and I want to upgrade so I can' play Medieval 2, I know i have to have a better gfx card, and i also probably need more ram. Can someone point me in the right direction of stuff that is good but not extremely high priced? maybe a site that has good deals that is trustworthy? thanks in advance.

EDIT: well after looking around the internet for a while longer I have realized that I don't have nearly enough money. Very depressing

No, I don't think those are compatible with his system.

jrappa1337: before you upgrade you need to know what kind of graphics interface you have (PCI, AGP or PCIe) I suspect you have AGP.
And you need to know what kind of RAM your system uses (SDRAM, DDR or DDR2), I suspect it's DDR.
