Sound during "slow motion" speed?
Hi,
Is there any modifiable setting that would allow sound effects to keep playing while in "slow motion" battle speed?

Yeah, that would be neat. Any suggestions?

Re: Sound during "slow motion" speed?
Short answer: no
Long answer: No, and there's a very good reason. When you change the timescale, you also distort environmental sounds if you apply the same timescale to them. If you dont apply the same timescale to them (ie. you let them run at normal rate), you get a whole bunch of other issues (eg. accelerate time and you get sounds overlapping. Slow time and the sound is well finished before it should be which looks really awkward).
Music still plays because it is not tied to events the same way, so it doesn't matter what timescale the battle is played at, it won't sound out of place in a different timescale.

hi crzyrndm, thanks for your reply. Yes, I considered that, but I would rather have the option of a low pitched (time warped) sound when in slow motion. I know it's not pretty, but it is quite common in games that have a bullet time effect. It's just the silence renders me crazy.

Re: Sound during "slow motion" speed?
Is there any way to slow down the normal game speed a bit? - not 'slow motion', just slow the action down maybe 5-10% so there's more time to see the actions (and frankly be more realsitic given men cannot wield and sword and shield at a frantic speed for extended periods - they get tired!)
