Default Urgent Problem Here (Not just another upgrade thread!)

Originaly, I had The two disks set up as follows:

c: (now G: for some reason but that doesn't matter) - windows system disk as dynamic

d: - A disk used to install games etc, also dynamic

Please don't ask why they are dynamic, that is not relevent!

As you can see, g: is now a simple disk! with two partitions. At this point you may be wondering WTF?, well so am I.

What happened you see, Is I ran Ubuntu off the CD I just made and had a little fiddle around with it. I had a look to see whether I could install it alongside windows somehow. I then noticed the partition maker and thought, "As this isn't windows it should not be bothered by the dynamic disk set-up." So I tryed to make a new partition on g: and it worked!

I then re-started and took the disk out to load windows (expecting something serious going to happen). It just ended up doing a scan disk and restarting then loaded up windows as fine as rain. Went to look in disk managment to see what the hell is going on and lo and behold the disk was partitioned and was simple again!

But.... notice the missing Dynamic disk? What would happen if this was deleted? I am wanting to do this to save from any problems later but I thought what I have done is impossible and I know that normally if you delete the dynamic partition windows will fail to recognise the disk. Would this still be so? Or am I back to good ol' basic for good?

I don't want to go wrong you see, because it is impossible for me to install windows on the other disk due to it not having a system dynamic partition. If this works though, I will try it for the other and make that basic too so i can go back to using windows on the bigger/faster disk and be able to partition it at will.

I really appretiate any help as I feel it is a waste of money buying the 160gb and not being able to install windows on it.

EDIT: Should I just go back into Ubuntu and increase the partition size that windows uses? Or would deleting the dynamic part do the same effect (or not )

EDIT2: Please... all I need to know is whether its safe to delete the failed dynamic partition.? ?
