Default Modifying the generals chevron reward.

    Hello guys.
I am currently trying to figure out how to Modify the chevron reward for the general when he goes up in rank.
I have been looking through the Rome 2 files and have had no luck finding the correct DB. It was much more easier in Shogun 2.

i should say am trying to mod the Radious Battle Mod, though it would be nice if anyone could tell me how to do it in the original game files.

So could any of you good gentlemen point me to the right place?

    Cheers!
    Robert.

I'm not sure what you mean by "chevron reward", but it looks to me to work this way:
    - character_experience_skill_tiers_tables define the XP required to reach which rank.
    - character_skill_level_details_tables define the skills which are unlocked for choosing for each rank.
    - character_skill_level_to_effects_junctions_tables defines the effect and its strength for each skill the player chooses.

    Thx for the info.

What i mean is that when the general ranks up, you get to assign skill points to the general. (Commander, infantry command, soldier, grand camp following, strategist)
Those skills give different bonuses to melee attack/defence, cost reduction, charge bonus, etc. All of those skills have 3 levels you can use skill point on it's basically the same skill point system that was used in Shogun 2 and FOTS. The only difference is that it operates and looks somewhat difference.

In what file exactly is the table you mentioned located?

    Daniu has it exactly right.

Using PFM, you can navigate to data_rome2.pack/db/ and find the files he mentioned.

As an aside, I know Radious has edited the character_experience_skill_tiers_tables to give generals less XP requirements per level and raise the skill points per level to from 1 to 2.
