crash on loading screen help, problems with other tw games too

ok im gonna make this quick.

first, i had the same dl of tw installed a week ago and it was working fine, i installed a new mb and reformatted. After the reformat i installed, tried to play med2 and it works well, then i installed TATW and when i get to the loading screen it just crashes every time, i dont know what the issue is, i know its not the dl as it has worked in the past, i installed it exactly the same, i let it go right into the mods folder within med2 folder(people might say this isnt the best way but it worked flawlessly in my old build)

another issue i dont know whats been going on with my tw games in general, 3 months ago i upgraded to a gtx 670 and updated bios (why i just bought new mb thought that could be the issue, it wasnt but the z77 runs much better than z67, and reformatted, the first game i tried playing was fine but my mouse got all messed up it felt nothing like the previous build, very strange off topic, anyway the point is i ran a 460 with all the same parts (before i just upgraded mobo) and i ran roma surrectum 2.5 and third age perfectly fine, now with the 670 Roma Surrectum gets like 15 fps when zooming in during the first battle with hannibal used to get 100+ before....so confused i wish i could have that old build back and never touch a thing again, oh right and for TATW it crashes on loading screen with this new mobo build, hwoever a few days ago when i was playing it, it was playing good but not great (would most likely struggle in big battles)

is there any reason that a much better vid card is running both these game completely worse

heres my build:

mobo - asrock z77 extreme 6
ram - 16gb 1600mhz corsair vengeance
vid card - msi gtx 670pe 2gb ram
cpu - i7 2600k ive tried overclocking and it didnt change a thing in tw games (goes for r2tw as well) so i dropped it back to 3.8
psu - corsair ax860i
hdd - Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64mb cache

please whatever comes to mind, i want my TW games to work again

edit - side note, other games did see a big improvement with my new video card, like planetside 2, bf3, tomb raider....newer games

We can try to get your TATW started, for other TW games and Tech Help ask in their appropriate forums ( for Tech Help regarding mobo, gpu etc.. ask in The Basement) .

For TATW answer these few questions :

1. Do you have M2TW and Kingdoms installed, and do they work?

2. What Windows do you have?

3. Is your M2TW Steam or non Steam version?
