LIST OF FIXES I WANT TO SEE:
-More agressive campaign AI
-Better UI
-More unit variety, not only in terms of visuals but also in terms of gameplay, it's ironic that there's less variety than in shogun, difference betweel royal thorax swords and galatians? The helmet.
Difference between ashigaru and samurai matchlock? Completely different playstyle.
-Naval battles revamped.
-War chariots that actually work
-Elephants that can charge
-Family tree
-Politics redone from the basics, they suck, hard.
-Traits completely redone
-More turns per year, with research trees and times fixed accordingly, slowed down experience on agents
-More diversification among agents, faction unique agents
-With the turns per year increase, reduce a lot the range of general movement on the campaign map
-Reduced forced march range, it's a forced march not the march of miracles
-Reintroduce roads as buildable instead of based on prosperity
(the three fixes above will increase the amount of battles on the field, this will avoid the trend of fighting only siege battles.
-Put a limit to elite and bodyguard units, no more armies made of praetorian guards, once you get a doomstack going, it's game over, you can kill 2000 enemy soldiers while losing maybe 20 (THANKS HP BAR, WHAT A MARVELOUS MECHANIC)
-This would have to be done by some dedicated modder: Bring back the old damage system, this would need a total rebalance of all the units
-Generals can only recruit while in cities, city garrisons affect economy, no more huge amounts of income to support 6 doomstacks, you actually have to use lower tier units in your army just like it's supposed to be.
Thoughts?
