    Default Those mistakes!!

I write from Spain so u r gonna understand me:

1- In the maps i´ve seen, Portugal n Navarre where under portugals flag n colours. Maybe its beacause Portugal is a one-province faction but this is a tremendous mistake. There are some portuguese players in that forum, what do u think about it?

2- Aragon is going to dissapear as a kingdom. Not only as a playable faction: If u remember in MTW-1 Aragon was a faction but not playable. It become playable with Viking invasion, but now it doesn´t even appear in the maps, with its own colour in the province of Aragon in the north-east of the Iberian Penninsula.

3- I´ve readen somewhere it´s not going to be Civil Wars. I loved them.

    Hi,

I'm Portuguese , thank you for the compliment, it was about time that Portugal appears in MTW!! Concerning your questions:

1 - Yes, i already saw Portugal starting with a province in Navarre..... i really hope that screenshot is not the beggining of campaign but a conquered province in that game. If so, if Portugal starts with Navarre, is one of the worst errors of CA from ever!!!!

Portugal shoulded be 2 provinces, but dividing Portugal at half..... in Oporto and Lisbon, or Lisbon and Algarve..... Balancing game giving Navarre to Portugal sux !

2 - I really agree, Aragon were a strong kingdom in Medieval times and is a shame that is not in this game !!

3 - There will be no civil wars like in MTW1 and i personally am happy with that... Civil Wars destroyed a lot of my games, because AI couldn't prevent it, so when an AI faction went to strong, started a Civil War and almost disapiered....

Strange, are they just not in at all, or are they different to MTW1, more like BI?

Loyalty is definitely in, and it's a bit useless otherwise.

im guessing loyalty will relate to bribes by your opponents, high loyalty less likely bribe will work and more expensive it will be.

Civil wars can still happen, you seem to have forgotten about loyalty

Oh noes!!!!!! CA took some liberties with historical accuracy for the sake of gameplay!!!!!!!!!

Come on, if you seriously expected CA to make this 100% accurate than you haven't been playing the Tw series much have you?

So if they swapped England & Scotland for ''the sake of gameplay'', you would be ok ok with that.

Well the difference between that is England became one of the greatest powers in the world for hundreds of years - why they put scotland in I do not know but switching the two around would definatly mess things up more than not being completely accurate with Spanish nations from 700 years ago.

    Portugal became pretty powerfull too.
It's just that I don't believe that the way Portugal was positioned in the screenshot I saw:
    http://www.g4mers.com/images/previews/shot_71_499.jpg is beneficial for gameplay.
They will now have to focus on two area's that are far apart and therefore both difficult to defend and they can't join these two without attacking an other catholic faction.
For the sake of gameplay I would prefer Portugal to start out with just Portugal as we know it today.

    true.

i think this is something most people wouldn't notice. i'm already prepared for inaccurate representations of poland's territory and provinces. this isn't a huge deal, i mean...it is a video game. just know, that no matter what, CA can't get it perfect. that's why i'm expecting to have two provinces in poland. 'poland over here' and 'poland over there' :tooth:

Well, Don't know why Scotland is so known in world, maybe only because Braveheart ..... after all, Scotland passed all this time, since medieval ages until now trying to be independent from England and couldn't make it...

Portugal is indenpendent from Spain since 1129 until now, and were a major potency in world around 1500 when divided the world in half with spain. Portugal conquered the major citys in actual Marocco, Portuguese sailors discovered Brazil, were the first countourning Africa, the first who arrived India, China and Japan.... Portugal was the last european country lefting colonys in Africa (Angola, Mozambique, etc. etc.), and Portuguese is actually the 7th language spoken in world. http://www.krysstal.com/spoken.html

Aragon in Medieval Times were more important than Scotland...... it was an indenpendent kingdom recognized by pope and respected in Europe. Later joined with Castilla & Leon by marriage of kings and become actual Spain.

i agree, scotland shouldn't have such notariety were it not for the british empire. even then, portugal has done more.

but this is irrelevant. this game is like art, and nothing can determine the expression of art.

This was a very great joke!

England could be more known, but Scotland is more known that Portugal??? Very good joke

I think CA must convert Scotland in a province of France and in this way there is another free slot for a true important faction

I'm very certain that Aragon will be in historical battles. From an old PCGAMER

Now, granting Navarre to the Portugeuse is another case
Navarre/Pamplona became the part of Spain where Euskari was spoken (a language closely tied to Gaelic and Brythonic) and the Basques rose up.
A totally different culture and language, even more divergent than Spain and Portugal

It's a balance issue on the campaign map that Lisbon didnt get two pronvinces

If Mel Gibson make a film on Portugal in the next MTW you'll have a more accurate Portugal factio. :tooth:
