Default Historical characters and generals in Rome 2

There are some historical generals like Caesar, Publius Cornelius Scipio, Mark Antony or Varus in the game. CA used random agents/generals for some other historical characters like Cleopatra VII, Hannibal or Porcius Cato. It is very simply to install them in the game!!

Open the save file with EditSF 1.0.8

go to CAMPAIGN_SAVE_GAME/COMPRESSED_DATA/CAMPAIGN_ENV/CAMPAIGN_MODEL/WORLD/FACTION_ARRAY/FACTION_ARRAY - 0/FACTION/CHARACTER_ARRAY and look for a general to change him.
Note. It must be general not colonel, spy, etc... You can see it in the second top row in (for example) CHARACTER_ARRAY - 11/CHARACTER

The last row of the CHARACTER_DETAILS_ART_SET_INFO describes the appearance of the general. So you need to change this row in:

    Caesar_General for Gaius Julius Caesar
Scipio_General to get Publius Cornelius Scipio
    Varus_General for Publius Quinctilius Varus
    Mark_Antony_General for Marcus Antonius

Creative Assembly used random generals for their other historical generals.

    Rom_General_01 for Sextus Pompeius Magnus
    Rom_General_02 for Marcus Atilius Regulus
    ]Rom_General_03 for Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus
    Rom_General_04 for Gaius Marius
    Rom_General_05 for Lucius Aemilius Paulus
    Rom_General_06 for Lucius Cornelius Sulla
    ]Rom_General_07 for Quintus Lutatius Catulus
    Rom_General_09 for Quintus Sertorius
    Rom_General_11 for Marcus Licinius Crassus
    Rom_General_13 for Gaius Octavius Augustus
    Rom_General_15 for Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa

    Roman random generals:

    top row: Rom_General_06, Rom_General_07, Rom_General_08, Rom_General_09
    1st: Rom_General_10, Rom_General_11, Rom_General_12, Rom_General_13
    3rd row: Silanus_General, Rom_General_14, Rom_General_15, Rom_General_16
    4th row: Rom_General_17, Rom_General_18, Rom_General_19, Rom_General_20

What does this do exactly? Will these characters appear at their historical points in time?

This allows you to give the characters new character models and yes they appear at their appointed time in history
