Whenever I attack the Seleucids all their satrapies also attack me, that's fine but soon after EVERY faction declares war on me. All the factions seem to launch a crusade against me. This happened when I played as Athens and Egypt.

Someone said this in another thread I am in an Egypt campaign right now, I think I will finish off the rest of Africa and head to Spain Instead of heading towards the Seleucids!
in patch 5 as the Selucids, all the eastern satrapies declare on you in the first few turns (to make it harder for the player), then in the following turns, I declared on an enemy of Sardes (western), and they too declared on me!

But it's not just the Seleucid satrapies that attack me.. It's almost every faction in the game! On my Athens campaign the Romans and African tribes also joined in with everyone. It seems extremely unrealistic.
Eh, it's not too bad. I was playing as Parthia and I attacked one of the saptries right away. It took like the next 50 turns, but I eventually destroyed them all except for Sardes who was clever enough to buy peace from me once the Seleucids themselves were gone. This was on Hard though, so it might be way worse on v/h and legendary.
The best guess I can make is that, when the AI decides to declare war it takes several factors into account - in this case, it's probably reasoning "Well, they've got a dozen wars already, so if I join in...". They are basically making a war deceleration on the assumption you're too entangled in your other wars to be able to fight them.
