Default Question about ability to control unit movement speed on battle map

In Medieval II it is possible to slow down unit movement speed on the battle map to .1x or speed it up to 10x.

As I understand it, there are no similar such controls in either Shogun II or Rome II. This is very important to me as I often played much of my battles at very low speeds. Am I correct that there are no such options in Shogun II and Rome II?

Thanks in advance for the info!

There is a button next to the battle speed buttons just below the mini-map. You can't fine-tune it as much as you could in M2 though. You can't make it go as fast or as slow as you could in M2, and as far as I'm aware, those 4 speeds are fixed, and you can't go up in 10% intervals. I'd rather have the M2 battle speed controls back.
