how to regain sauron's protection?

I'm playing Rhun and made Silvans my vassals which was a good move given that they were in war with dwarfs as well as me and were bringing 5k each turn. But since I'm allied with mordor automatically I was forced to make a chice when mordor decided to attack my vassal. Because having silvans alive and under me was important I choosed to break allience with mordor and mordor attacked me as well soon after.

Then sauron said enough is enough and asked me to make peace with mordor, but mordor thought otherwise and next time they attacked me I lost sauron's protection. So I was wondering how to regain sauron's protection?

Based on my M2TW experiences...

Build religious (shrine to melkor) buildings. Killing off your current faction leader will solve the issue instantly.

Allying to other evil factions isn't bad either.

well I did that instantly but it didn't work, sauron died as well and was replaced by younger sauron and that didn't help either(in M2TW if pope dies you are allowed back to the church)

I tried to make Mordor a vassal, offered 1 million for that but they didn't accept, so I just decided to destroy it.
The reason why I wanna get the protection back is because my remote cities are not exactly super happy about this and my ally harad turned against me when invasion was launched(and harad owns all gondor and western half of rohan, so it's the strongest realm by now.

That's the reason I wanted to give it a try here because usual tricks from M2TW like king's or pope's death don't work

From the FAQ (have a look, it is quite informative).

Q: How do I resurrect Sauron when I play as Mordor ?
A: Acquire the One Ring and take it back to Barad-dûr with your ringbearer.

Q: Can I get the Balrog ?
A: It is only possible when you play as the Orcs of the Misty Mountains. You need to construct Mithril Mines in Moria. This is only possible if you have upgraded Moria to a huge city. Furthermore it is not possible to resurrect the Balrog before turn 90.

Do you have 200-400k in treasury? If yes, make mordor your vassal. You'd get most of the money by next turn, you'd regain 'friendship' with Mordor and they'd be happily sending you money afterwards.

Wait, Mordor attacked YOU and you lost protection? That's odd. Well, anyway I'd try to make peace with Mordor any way you can and jump in on the next invasion. Try to help out evil factions by attacking their enemies, like the dwarves

In vanilla M2TW money did wonders. A regular tribute to the papal states - e.g. 1000 per turn for 10 turns - would steadily increase relations which in turn could end the excommunication. You'd need to find an inquisitor ("servant") to do diplomacy with or cheat and move a diplomat into the papal states territory at the top-right of the map.

That would be pointless, though, if you're still at war with any Melkor faction. I don't know if your vassal being at war with them would work against your chances of being accepted back into the fold.

BTW I wonder what to do with the ring that I captured? obviously i'm not allowed to destroy it since Rhun is an evil realm, and ring-wearing general in Barad-dur doesn't resurrect sauron either(yes I did retaliate Mordor for an attack on my ally and myself, but even after losing most of the lands they still refuse become vassal for any monetary reward)

Barad-Dûr needs to be in Mordor's hands.

Edit, with the course you have chosen; by playing TATW as it was MTW, the best thing you can do if you do not wish to be at war with everyone, is to change sides. Make peace with the good factions and kick Harad's butt with them.
