Some mods are not working after the patch
Some mods, even if they are on the workshop, are not working after this last patch. In some cases they are simple mods that just edit the variantmeshes. I don't know if it's a bug of the new mod manager or what, but it's annoying. Has anyone got the same problem and knows how to solve it?

Re: Some mods are not working after the patch
Odds are its because the mods haven't been updated with the patch 5 changes. The patch probably directly changed some files that are used in those mods so you just need to wait.

Re: Some mods are not working after the patch
There has to be something else, because for example, my Spartan unit mod that mostly changes Spartan's variantmeshes is not working even if I erase the 3 tables I edited. If a variantmesh has something wrong inside should at least show the unit without the part that is wrong written or whatever (for example if there's a helmet that was called "a" and now it's called "b" the soldier should appear without a helmet" and when I use the mod the units have the vanilla look. I'm not the only one with problems, Regoso has been awake all night remaking his mod because it gave him crashes and now he has the same problem as me. So I suppose there has to be something else.

Re: Some mods are not working after the patch
Must we have a thread like this every time a beta patch comes out?
Modders need to update their mods after each big patch, they are humans not machines it takes time.

Re: Some mods are not working after the patch
please, read before talking. I am a mod developer and I was getting that problem without any logical explanation.
I fixed it just erasing the spaces in the name of the mod, I really feel like an idiot because the problem was caused by a silly thing.

Re: Some mods are not working after the patch
I don't think this SW mod manager can do the same job as Mitch's version which doesn't work now. With his version you could change the order that mods are loaded but I doubt the SW version bothers with that. I wish CA would stop messing about and let the modders on here do their stuff.
I had the same problem with Railworks which was improved massively by modders until the devs thought they could do better. Oh for the days of Rome 1 and Med 2.

Re: Some mods are not working after the patch
Reports are that mods with spaces in their names are not working. Also, the Mod Manager has no load order option so certain mods will overwrite others.
Lastly, some mods may not have been properly updated to patch 5.
