horrible fps issues

i meet the recomended requirments for rome 2 but my game lags like crazy durring battles even on the lowest graphic settings. i attached my dxdiag and im open to any options

Have you tried to run Rome 2 with few as possible background exe's? I had compatibility problem with the setpoint.exe.

i really dont have much running the background but maybe ill load up rome 2 and see if theres something out of the ordinary
