Default Who did the buildings / castles for this mod?

    Gents,
I'm a HUGE fan of this mod and am currently working on the American Civil War mod for ETW. I wanted to know who worked on the amazing castles and buildings for Third Age? We're hoping to be able to mod the ETW forts to look like civil war breastworks and earth fortifications and are after any help we can get.

They talk about a brazilian boy who lives in the jungle and work in custom settlements in the free time. But he is totally out of this stuff and said he WILL NOT work on any custom settlement anymore, for any mod.

Some of them were Leo, some were King Kong and I'm sure there were other contributors as well. If you're interested in using some of KK's word in your mod...well then I wish you the best of luck.

KK is inactive, but Leo is still around. Send him a PM and see how it goes!

BTW I wonder why some of the custom settlements are so disadvantaged defensively? while the are always very important but to name a few: Lorien and Rivendell don't have gates and towers, rivendell doesn't even have walls. Many other settlements like Minas Mogul should be a strong defensive fortress but doesn't have any shooting towers and no walls to put archers on, and list goes on... in other words regular cities/castles are easier to defend than custom settlements

This is basicaly due to 2 reasons.

firstly, they must fit the lore, rivendell for example, it is not a fortress, its just a peaceful elven restplace, thats it on the books, thats it on the movies.

second, there are engine issues related with.

Barad dur, for example, has just a gate, no walls, and thats is why it has no towers. With 2 ballista towers, no ram would crosss the bridge and reach the gate, it would be impossible to take it.

belive me they are the best they can be.

in 3.2 vanilla I think barad dur is like regular fortress, so it's easy to defend against AI, however it's a bit cheaty since AI isn't good at taking 3 gates without losing most of the army

Rivendell is only disadvantaged defensively if you are playing an army that has no missile weapons to speak of, or refuse to pin the enemy down during their approach across either bridge or the little island in between to two.

And Lorien is only really disadvantaged if attacked from the side that the only opening in the small-but-unassailable-and-uncrossable walls. If, for example, they're being attacked from the eastern side of the settlement, the enemy army has to march all the way around, getting slaughtered at range the whole time. Found that out the hard way, because I didn't even notice the thing until I got right up to it and had to march around.

I believe if you have 3 melee infantry units and tons of archers (6 would be the best but 4 would work too) you can defend Minas Morgul against any full stacks of Mordor, even with trolls. Simply place the melee units in a \_/ shape facing the gate and the tons of archers behind the two sides of the formation. Right at the moment the enemies come through the gate, order the archers to fire. Game over.

I've read till my eyes are crossed, and I cannot find what may be causing this problem.
Hopefully, someone in this thread can answer this for me.
For some reason, all my cities and castles , show up in battles with only wooden walls. I cannot figure out what I may have done to cause this. Everything looks fine on the campaign map(Huge wall are Huge walls..ect), and all walls are build-able in due course. But, when I enter a siege battle, they are only wooden structures. I am playing TATW 3.2.(I imagine this is irrelevant, but...)
I have made minor adjustments to the EDB in the form of some recruitment stat changes, but no structures were touched.
    TIA,
