After patch 5 i decided to give another campaign a go (i haven't played since patch 2 as i was waiting for the game to be properly patched). I got to turn 4 when i went to initiate diplomacy with the Caledones (i was playing as the Iceni on legendary difficulty). I was going to offer to join the war against the Brigantes in the hope of gaining something in return. Upon getting to the screen to 'join war against...' there is no 'Okay' or 'Cancel' button so I had to Ctrl-Alt-Del, to get out of the game (image below shows this). Id like to point out, that other then the piss-poor AI this is the only issue i have actually had with the game. The game runs flawlessly on my machine at extreme settings. The end turn takes on average 10 seconds for me now. On release day it was maybe 60-90 second end turn and after a few patches it has dropped down significantly. The AI is the only thing in my mind that requires patching... no, it needs to be re-written or something...It might also be interesting to state that when i attacked Moridunon at the beginning of turn 3 i had an army of 10 units and the odds of me winning was about 10% (i had about 1400 men to thier 2800 or whatever it was). I lost 760, and they lost over 1500 and routed... If i had auto battled i would have surely lost...I would like to ask, HOW can i have won so easily when i was given a 10% chance of a winning outcome? I realise that with the auto-resolve you will lose many more units then fighting actual battles on the battle map. I fought this one on the battle map. But how can i be given just a 10% chance of victory, and then end up with a decisive victory when i am playing on LEGENDARY difficulty?...
