Rome 2 SteamWorkshop

Does anyone know if I subscribe to a mod for Rome 2 in steam Workshop, then the mod is automatically downloading to the game. How can I uninstall the mod ?

I think unsubscribing from the mod uninstalls it.

You can use the delete button in the official mod manager to remove any unwanted mods. You don't have to do this to deactivate them though, just make sure the checkbox in the top left corner is unticked if you don't want to use it right at the moment but may in the future.
