Eastern Roman Empire

After I finish my Rome campaign I want to play as the eastern half of the empire but of course it never comes into existence in the game. What do you think are the factions in the game that best represent one group within the eastern half, who was in control of Constantinople?

If you're going for geography, probably Macedon. Possibly Pontus.

If you're going for military style, Parthia actually seems like it might be closest. By the time the ERE really had a significantly unique military style, it was pretty cavalry oriented, with lots of heavy lancers and horse archers. Pontus might also work.
