I'd like to edit cities so they have less clutter and wider avenues for armies
I think one of the primary problems in the game is the fact the avenues to capture flags are too skinny. This causes some of the major fps issues and as a side effect makes the AI more stupid in sieges. Be de-cluttering and opening up cities a bit more, it will help fps as it won't have to calculate the breakdown of items such as wagons, markets, fences etc.
I know this will be a huge task but I believe the payoff will be worth it.
Can anyone give me an idea of where I might go to do this? or if this is even possible? My guess is each city is pre-generated with X,Y coordinates for each item strewn across the map. If I can find that, I can superimpose the city over a grid and work to eliminate buildings and other fluff to make the area more open and easier to traverse.
Thanks!
