    Default Laptop Resolution Issues

    I've recently bought a Dell (shock of shocks ) with a Mobility 1400 256mb graphics card, as well as an extra gig of RAM. So far, so damn good (e.g. can run 8000 man battles in Rome on medium-high settings, or Battlefield 2 on high). However, despite running at high settings I've got an issue with resolution.

    The native resolution is 1280 x 800, which evidently, many games (such as Battlefield 2) dont want to run in, and thus, the graphics look...well...not as good as they should be. Any advice?

    Run them in windowed mode.
