Honestly, hes overrated just like Caesar. The only reason why they were able to accomplish their "amazing feats" was because of the advanced technology of the era. Plus he wasnt that great of a character anyways (or a nice one)

I'd say destroying the Persian Empire was a great feat, won many battles being out numbered too

Oh please, it would be a great feat if those pajama people weren't destroyed. Straw shields don't make very good defenses by the way.

Joking aside, the Persians required the combined use of strength in numbers and their cav to win their wars. Take those away and youve won the battle (Not very hard with when you have your Companions on your side).

On topic: Yes, I would love to see such historical places in the game. Places that have individuality and unique style. Cities that would make us ask on forums: How do I conquer this special city, it's such a challenge?
The game development business is one of bottomless greed, pitiless cruelty, venal treachery, rampant competition, low politics and boundless personal ambition. New game series are rising, and others are starting their long slide into obscurity and defeat.

Isn't it in game? It's not a city though and it's not on an island. It's one of the settlements in Syria.

It probably deserves to be a city with walls, but if we're on that topic the failure to make Syracuse a walled city is by far the most offensive ahistorical choice CA has made. I'd rather get that fixed first.

We don't have Babylon It's in the form of a wonder in one of the regions. . . . !
It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

Like the game and it's horrible components would even do it justice. CA won't even budge on the Province concept where one out of like four cities are actually cities.

Hmm true, there is lots of towns that should be cities, or towns that should be walled, not getting to see Babylon is also sad
