Some complaints are that CA is more focusing to much on young novice players.
I'm wondering what the age/gender demographic is around here.

Not sure if this really matters, young people can be mature as well as mature people being childish and does it really matter whether a man or woman plays the game?
While Generally and specially if speaking scientifically-practically what you say is true. However things are a little more complex in real life ! For example if I see a 40 year old man I expect him to act more maturely than a say 20 year old one until proven the opposite ! I think many people think the same by default. so knowing the demographics of total war players may help CA change some of its flawed and unsuited game designs (?)
On the other hand I don't think knowing the number of female players would help ,Because no matter how much CA tries to dumped down and make the game arcadish this won't ever appeal many females to this franchise
I'm 15 and I think Rome 2 is a small step backward! (Still not as bad as many say though...)
I'm 17 male, I started playing Total War with the first Rome. (I actually bought Medieval II, but the family computer couldn't take it so I went back to EB games and bought Rome, so I had Medeival 2 that I couldn't play until Empire came out when I had enough money to buy myself a new computer)

24. I'm sure most TW players are males 15-30.
CA miscalculated hugely taking a big, steaming dump on their core fanbase; they will pay for it in the future. Only absolute chumps who love being abused by corporations would ever pre-order one of their games again. No amount of paid CA shills saying they love Rome 2 will change that.
This may not be true, many first time buyers will not be on any forums, so they will think the game ok because they had nothing to compare it against, unless they had problems getting the game to actually play at release.
Don't know if any negative feedback on Amazon etc will have any real negative effect on proceedings?
Age 46, Male, been with the series from the get go, bought my first PC for Shoggy 1.

Just need a Puma shellsuit and your set.
Ah it's good to be a young buck.
I'm (1)33 years old and still play Lego to discover the sense of human life.
I use to play a lot of Lego using sets bought for me and 10 year old sets from my older brother.
The problem was that I lacked those big boards to stick things on and fresh Lego rectangle blocks/other pieces due to how worn down most of my stuff was.
So I gave up on Legos and started to play pc games...
Now you remind me of Legos and how much fun they were that I need to go back and buy myself some stuff and mess around again. I would use to play out battles with Lego pieces, pretty cool stuff along with table top miniatures.
Thank you you for your enlightenment Nobilissimus.![]()

Ah Ah! tua etiam nobilissima voluntas est
I'm doing in total war games what I did with Lego (medieval and gendarmerie/pirates) and then painting Bretonnia's cavalry some latersince I played the old mega drive game: Centurion, with pixel-choorts
I've still in somewhere some structures complete (castles, ships). Lego are more than a toy, are a "mental attitude" and I'm glad to have played past Lego productions since so many Lego today seem too easy to me![]()
Ah take it from me, one LEGO fan to another, build your own stuff! It's quite fun and satisfying when you make a good looking scene, ship, figure, whatever! There's even a website dedicated to us! AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO), TFOLs (Teen Fans of LEGO), YFOL's (Young Fans of LEGO) and everything in between.
I am the author of the "Weaker Towers" and "Officers Of" series of mods for Total War: Warhammer!

Yes im sorry kids pc gaming was better 10-15 years ago.
