Playing Rome, launch sea-borne invasion of Massilia.
Full stack of land troops in transports, escorted by an admiral and 5 or 6 ships.
Massilia undefended except for garrison and a slightly larger navy than mine.
Its navy manages to sink mine, but my land forces beach successfully and take the City.
I get the Victory screen, and choose to occupy.
Return to the campaign map, where of course my navy sinks (because Massilian navy defeated it), but TAKING MY LAND FORCES WITH IT. WTF?
So I won the city, but because I lost my naval escort, I lost my army too? On the battle map they all survived handily. On the campaign map they went down with the navy.
There’s a problem there . . .
