What really saddens me is how little CA seems to have learned and how many of these problems still exist. Even under the layer of glaring problems there still exists a lot of flaws that aren't apparent until you compare the game with Rome 1, like the realism of combat or the attention to detail.

I also think what he said at 27:00 is especially true, most of the current units are just boring reskins with a few stat adjustments and all the good content is going to be DLC. That is, if there will be any good content at all, because the Greek City DLC was also just reskins.

Wow, thanks for posting, hadn't seen that. Best analysis of Empire imho, but you can say mostly the same about rome2.

The best part of that video was the troops climbing up the ladder as a blob, which is EXACTLY the same as one of the bugs with troops disembarking from Empire.
