    pretty much the topic. I couldn't find a mod that does just that, but darthmod does it and more, so I know it's possible. but how?? editing a savegame?

    oh yeah, obviously I mean 40 units in a battle...

    Ok, what you do is get editSF, it is a program for modding you can get online, it is free.

    Use it to open up a save game.

    On windows 7 the save games file is not where the program is installed. They are on the C drive, even if your game is saved under a different drive. They are in the user files.

    You go into the C drive, then into the user folder, then into the roam folder, then into the creative assembly folder, then in empire folder, then into the save games folder.

    Open the save game you want to use. On the left hand side of the program you will see a plus sign next to the words CAMPAIGN_SAVE_GAME. You click the plus sign, then click the plus sign next to CAMPAIGN_ENV. Then click on the words (not the plus sign next to) CAMPAIGN_MODEL. You will see on the main screen on the program, under the header 'value', two identical 20s at the bottom. Change those to 40, then save.

    That is it. Warning, it my make your save game unstable, and your battles too awesome.
