Hello all,
Ladies and Gents, we are looking for a few good folks to join the Lordz beta team.
This is a very, very important time for the beta team. The next beta will be Waterloo, and at that time we hope to have analyzed the trends, tendencies, strengths and weaknesses of what we've done with the Rome engine. This will be our last Total War release for the near future, or at least until it seems that Medieval Total War 2 is modable, and we want to make sure that we have made it as fine as it can be.
As such, this is a final time to analyze the current build (2.2) and see where changes could be used.
I would like to put this offer out for people to join the current Lordz beta team.
A warning; I am not really looking for Napoleonic experts; we have many of those. In fact, some of the times, I will not even necessarily be asking for true opinion (this is what we call the HARD SELL  ) However, if you are a SMART (this is key!) sensible, logically minded individual with a keen eye for detail and willing to do some work, we could REALLY use you.
There are a number of tests that will be extensively planned and executed on our test maps (thanks to LFB for that!) to see how the game is currently balanced and how the various parts interact. We want to make sure these parts, be they French Old Guard or British Rifles or English Rockets, interact in a most historical manner while being the most fun possible.
Beta testers will, of course, recieve and be able to play the Waterloo expansion (god wait till you see Hougoumont!) well before the general release, and if you prove yourself to be thoughtful, insightful, AND willing to have British and French infantry just standing, blasting at each other for a while while you watch and take a few notes, your ideas will ALWAYS be welcome... there are a lot of good NTW minds out there, and we would love to have their insights in this very important, and very high profile, release!
So, if this sounds like something you would like to take up and you think you could spare some time, please drop me a PM at forum.thelordz.co.uk or an email (grenadierguardscampaigns@yahoo.com)
Thanks, and I hope to see a few of the reliable folks I know taking this up.
[GG] Lord Ashram
