Blitzing legendary campaign with Parthia in 59 turns

Level: Legendary
Victory: Economic
Note 1: Took me 40 turns to do the expansion and 20 turns to complete the civil technologies to fulfill the victory condition.
Note 2: Some of the game records seem retarded, I only researched 20 civil techs but it shows 16 civil and 4 military. I'm aware of that!
Note 3: As always, never lost a settlement, battle unit or a ship

Note 4: Good luck remarking this a forgery

I dont really care about blitzing, its personal preference. But your point 4 and signs disturb me a lil bit. Are people that insecure (both you and who accused you of cheating)?

1: You should had seen some peoples comments in a shogun 2 topic of mine to see how 'insecure' they can get.

In Shogun 2, I know its possible, provided that you get past certain hurdles AI wont stand a chance as they aint developed enough against your gigantic income accumulated through conquest, then all left are dealing with civil war/realm divide and converting regions. But i'm the type to turtle with 2.5 provinces and 4 satraps till turn 100 as Egypt to get tier 4 troops before starting to expand so I'm not interested, only to comment on your sign. Anyway, since I did post in your thread: impressive achievement indeed 8->

He posted his blitzkrieg achievement in S2 using an unpatched game, without the 4 or 5 patches that had been released at the time.
People pointed out the patches had greatly improved the AI and never doubted that he did what he said, but that he could do the same with an up to date game (not to mention that it is very hard to keep an unpatched game without pirating).
He went into "you people all suck and are just jealous" mode immediately which didn't exactly earn him sympathies as you can imagine so there was some flaming, but he never addressed any of the valid points either, no matter how neutral they were brought up;
I'd have gladly given him +rep if he had just said "no, don't be silly" to a question whether he used mods instead of "

you stupid hater".
Sadly since he had his thread locked and took down the video, he denied you from making up a mind of your own, go figure.

In my shogun campaign it was me myself who mentioned the patch version because honesty mattered to me and I couldnt care less what people may say. And no, I didn't go to the 'you all are jealous' mode but simply played shogun 2 again and won the legendary campaign without recruiting any units lol maybe I do the same with rome 2 too sometime and win it with mercenaries

Just some additional note: I use pirated game 'cause the game can't be purchased here and if you find it enough for anything then good for you, you got me red handed

thanks, you know how much your positive feedback means to me

and i did that with the final patch, the game that came with the fall of the samurai. and i tell you if you can blitz a game in 16 turns or 59 turns, then a few changes in ai intelligence only may change that time by a few turns...

Impressive, did you get Veni Vidi Vici? Also this is very possible, I conquered Britain+Ireland as the Iceni in 2 turns without losing any battle on Legendary,.

How did you deal with the Civil War by the way? I used all my agents to paralyze the armies so I only had to fight 2 battles while the 6 armies died from attrition.

Managed to keep my political balance at 69%, also stopped expanding before i reach level 5 imperium so I avoided civil war.
Figured out economic victory by making allies is the quickest way to win the game with less expansion needed.

when I still was expanding, I almost played every battle worth playing, anything that wouldn't give me a decisive victory in auto-resolve, so yeah, having played like half the battles myself and gaining 4 heroic victories I did enjoy the game

To answer your second question, not really. they were too busy fleeing and merging their armies

Him interesting, the first campaign I finished was with the Suebi and I achieved a military victory in around 50 AD, so roughly 300 rounds

But hey I like it to play a Total War long drawn out, I am not the guy for blitzkriegs...

Yeah, I know what you mean, I always feel disappointed when I win the campaign with slingers and rake-and-bamboo infantry and when it's time to recruit some decent units there's no enemy to fight with. Look at this map for instance, there's only one enemy left, Roxalanies I'm almost ally with the rest of the map

At the beginning, horse archers since i was close to my home town and could recruit them, but after a few turns had to rely on my generals, mercenaries and slingers which were more than enough

Khorasmii and their neighbors called war on me themselves, but backed up Dahae settlements so they could take care of north east for me. Parthava, then made none-aggression pacts with Media-atropadae and Baktria and took care of the rest of Seleukid satrapis. By the end of turn 12 Seleukids were left alone with Sardis
