Default Odd CAI behavior, is this happening to anyone else?

Hello, I have started a new campaign for patch 4 and I'm not sure if CA changed this on purpose or if this has something to do with Radious Mod, But every faction I encounter is declaring war on me even if I have prior agreements with them like trade rights or non-aggression pacts. Is this happening to anyone else in their campaigns with patch 4? I mean literally, every single faction is at war with me and its become quite... ridiculous. Also, The AI will declare war on me even if they are in VERY good standing with me so I am really starting to think this has got to be a bug or something.

I have exactly the same problem, I have just started a suebi campaign, and every faction no matter how much they like me, or even if I have non aggression pacts and trade agreements with them, or given the fact that the are already in several other wars -
they just declare war at me no matter what. I am also using the Radious AI Mod.

This has nothing to do with the previous patches. Since the release state i have had this happen to me. Basically, they declare war on you if your settlements are not defended. The only way to not have them declare war on you is to recruit large armies and place them as garrisons on bordering regions. If you do then you will soon come back here asking why nobody ever declares war on you.

PS: They also declare war on you if your satrapies/client states do not place large garrisons in their bordering regions.

Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...

Can we determine if it has anything directly to do with Radious? I too use it along with other AI changes. I had Massallia as my only region outside (modern) Italy, and though I had full stacks in Cisalpina, Massallia was undefended (as Volcae are my vassals). Could this explain why ALL Spanish and Gallic tribes have declared on me? Nobody else has! Well, expect for an Illyrian faction, but that's probably for the same reason, as I don't keep men by the Adriatic. So guess I've got a hard slog ahead of me now, but if I garrison Massalia it should be easier to get peace? Don't want to be pestered by Gaul yet...

^ Yes, they will attack you if you have an undefended region, even if you outnumber them militarily and would easily recover any lost terrain they will still attack you. If you see AI recruiting troops near one of your undefended territories then prepare for the inevitable.

I have never seen all AI factions declaring war on me, even when I'm playing as the Barcid Carthage with -30 diplomatic relations with everyone. I could leave my Iberian settlements totally undefended for 80 turns and those Iberia factions just end up asking for money every other turn or fighting each other. I think your mod is screwing you up, but you guys should compare notes anyway to narrow down the problem. When do all factions start declaring war on you? Turn 50? 80? 100? What level is your imperium or faction influence? Level 3? 4? Any other interesting clues that might lead to all AI suddenly hating you?

I think its a Radious thing as Radious Civil war is ridiculously hard.

Don't think it's a matter of Imperium. is happening to me and I've only got Italia, Cisalpina and Massalia (plus the Roman starting regions)

That's odd because I did have about 5 stacks spread out among a very small area. I had just defeated the Etruscan league and was setting up my pre-Marian to invade carthage when I was declared war upon by Epirus, so I went to Epirus and took apollonia then from there it went down hill. All of Greece slowly declared war on my along with all of the Illyrian tribes, Then the tribes in Spain and Gaul. But it all started when I went over to Greece and took that settlement. My imperium was only level 2, it had been about 25 turns. The weirdest thing I find is that factions that I had previous relations with, even with +100 relations, started to follow suit after I took more land in Greece.

I think its Radious, because I have been playing vanilla lately and this has never happened to me. Vanilla on patch 4 so far has seen diplomacy much more enjoyable for me playing as Rome on Legendary. People actually accept trade deals and its actually possible to get people to join a military alliance with me. Prior to patch 4 I could never pull this off.

I have exactly the same problem and i was searching this forum to find somebody else who has the same problem. And i have found
Well here are details. I am playing as sparta on normal. About 150 turns after me and i am imperium but not the greatest because i still can have only 12 armies. But i have successfully dealed with civil war. I am using radious AI and economy mod. Before patch 4 i didnt have any problems. But now almost every faction is declaring war on me...and from no reason. Factions on the other side of the map declare war. A lot of factions are breaking non attacking pacts and trade agreements and also from no reason. Factions which have possitive attitude to me are now declaring war. But the most weird is that factions which i have very good relationships with (+67, +107) declared war. I absolutely can not see any reason why!!!!!
I played my first capmaign as rome. But something like this never happend to me. That time i had many pacts and alliances and nobody broke them. And i had a hell lot of undefended regions and borders. But i didnt use radious mods.
I think this can be caused by Radious AI mod because everybody who has these problems is using it. People are you using just this mod from Radious? Toomorrow i try to delete it and will see what happens.

I played a new suebi campaign today without the Radious AI Mod, and everything was fine. No massive declaration of war against me, AI behaved reasonable. So I guess that might be some sort of a rare bug that this mod is causing?

I'm playing 3 campaigns at the same time with Radious mod. Egypt, peacefully boring....everybody my friend and we are all sitting around the fire singing Kumbya

Roman campaign the same but the Spartan campaign everybody and their mother is declaring war on me...but that could also be explained because I declared on Seleucids and their allies and was at war with Pontus and Rome at the same time so the A.I smells blood and wants a piece of me. All these games are on VH difficulty.

Not using the Radious mod in my Roman campaign but it appears everyone is declaring war on me except for a handful of factions. None of my campaigns before patch 4 was like this.

Playing Pontus, legendary, around turn 75: not a single faction has declared war on me directly (yet).
