    Default How to directly stimulate trade and value of goods!

    Good day fellow codehackers,

    since I stripped down the magical and invisible GdP income for all factions inside Difficile Ludum, I was searching for a way how to directly stimulate trade and the value of goods, so the player gets motivated to enable a quantity of tarde routes. This is very easy done inside...

    db -> campaign_variables_tables -> campaign_variables

    ...search for...

    trade_route_value_combined_gdp_proportion (default value of 0.75)

    ...increasing this value to 3 (4x) roughly gives you 75% more money for any good traded. I haven't entirely figured how it's working, but just doubling doesn't give you double the money. However, it does directly increase the value of goods and therefor raises the money you'll get. Also, there's...

    trade_resource_region_gdp_contribution (default value is 0)

    ...setting this to, for example, 100, gives you a bonus of ~75% to your trade in general. It lowers proportional to any new trade route, and, just as the faction GdP, is invisible. I'd consider as something like a "internal market" tax on any good traded. This bonus will stay alive even without having any trade routes.
