Recurring CTD

I returned to the Total War scene last month after a few years away and almost immediately replaced my TATW 1.4 with a clean install of 3.2. I have to say, I love the game, love the upgrades that have been made to it, but I'm starting to experience some problems.

My first campaign was as Mordor, and after about 80 turns, I started experiencing a CTD on the battle loading screen. Didn't make a difference what battle, or where it was--after 80 turns of completely bug-free play, I couldn't play any battles. Managed to auto-calc a couple and then tried again a few turns later. Same deal.

So, I quit the campaign and started playing as Dale. Got over 150 turns in, and as I was loading a battle against Mordor, same thing happened--CTD on battle loading screen. That was yesterday, and I've been running it through the same auto-calc, advance turns procedure that I did with Mordor. No dice. Any advice?

Disable Automatically daylight saving setting in your PC's Time and Date - Time Zone settings.

Seriously?

Pardon the incredulity, but I was a modder myself for several years and never heard of a computer's time settings causing a CTD. But I'll go try it--thanks for the response.

Okay, so I went into my computer settings and found that the Daylight Savings setting was already disabled. However. . .I re-enabled it, saved settings, then went back in and disabled it and saved settings. And at the moment, it looks like the game works. Thank you!
