    Default Game wont start

After yesterdays patch was released I was no longer capable of playing the game. It would launch, but get stuck in an endless loading screen before the intro vid started. I was convinced that this may had something to do with all the mods I had installed, but instead of removing those I simply reeinstalled the game (in english and not german this time). But when I tried to play it after reeinstalling I was confronted with the same issue. Does anyone here face the same problem or has any solutions?

Reinstalling the game won't alter what's in appdata, nor will it delete the mods.

Go "your name"/appdata/ roaming/ the creative assembly and delete the Rome2 folder. Copy anything you wish to keep like your save games to a temporary folder.

Or if there is still a mod script there, you may only have to delete that. ....look in "scripts".

Usually this is what will fix it.
Proculus: Divine Caesar, PLEASE! What have I done? Why am I here?
    Caligula: Treason!
Proculus: Treason? I have always been loyal to you!
Caligula: [laughs insanely] That IS your treason! You're an honest man, Proculus, which means a bad Roman! Therefore, you are a traitor! Logical, hmm? Ha, ha, ha!

    the folder appdata/roaming is empty?

Is there some other way for me to delete that data?

When you "uninstall" the data remains on the HDD including the mod. So when you "reinstall" you are simply back where you started. Unless it was a Rome2 file that was corrupt, reinstalling won't change anything. Simply deleting the mod script in Appdata should deactivate it. It's the mod conflicting with the new patch that is usually the cause of the bug "crash on loading screen".

Glad to be of help. I'd imagine the mod installer would enable you to deactivate the mod anyway. I think it used to, but it's been a while since I've used mods.
